Of the many things we love in life, one of the most profound, is making things with our hands. We like hand-made.

Dexter Rose garments are printed by hand. We use stencils made from acrylic paper that are printed by an inkjet printer and cut using an artist’s knife and cutting board. It’s a fine delicate art. Yes emulsion prints last into the hundreds, but STENCILS don’t. That’s why we love them. Stencils have a lifetime of between 10 and 70 prints. They gradually degrade in strength which gives each print its individuality. Our aim is not programmed perfection, but organic, creative expression.
